John George Psychiatric Emergency Services

ALAMEDA COUNTY BEHAVIORAL HEALTH

All Alameda County residents are eligible for mental health services. Alameda County Behavioral Health (ACBH) is the lead agency providing coordination of mental health and substance use services in Alameda County.

BERKELEY MENTAL HEALTH RESOURCES

Berkeley residents are eligible to receive mental health services through the Mental Health Department of the City of Berkeley

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH RESOURCES

Contra Costa Health provides mental health services to all residents of Contra Costa County who are experiencing a mental or emotional crisis. See the website for services in East, Central and West Contra Costa County.

GRIEVANCES

The Patients’ Rights Advocates of Alameda County responds to questions and complaints from consumers being treated in psychiatric hospitals/facilities and from consumers who are residents of long term facilities or of adult residential facilities, who feel one or more of their rights have been denied.
