Blue Oak Therapy Center is deeply committed to supporting and participating in charitable activities in the Bay Area.

One of the ways in which we support our community is by giving annual charitable donations to local organizations.

AIDS PROJECT OF THE EAST BAY (East Bay)
Dedicated to preventing the spread of HIV and supporting individuals infected with the virus.

ALTERNATIVES IN ACTION (Oakland)
Focusing on a charter high school for challenged students, after school programs, and childcare by youth for working families.

BAY AREA WOMEN AGAINST RAPE (Bay Area)
Providing support services and a crisis hotline to women who have been sexually assaulted or abused.

INSIGHT HOUSING (Berkeley)
Providing emergency food and shelter, transitional housing, and support services to homeless individuals and families.

BERKELEY YOUTH ALTERNATIVES (Berkeley & Oakland)
Providing comprehensive services to children, youth and their families in South and West Berkeley and Oakland.

MAITRI (South Bay)
Helping families from South Asia facing domestic violence, emotional abuse, cultural alienation, teen violence and family trafficking through counseling services, hotlines and support groups.

OPTIONS RECOVERY SERVICES (East Bay)
Providing comprehensive services for dual diagnosis clients with a mission of rehabilitating and restoring the dignity of people who have “hit bottom.” Employees are former clients in recovery.

THE CENTER (San Francisco)
Providing programs and services for the LGBT community in San Francisco with a mission to unite and give visibility to this community, and to organize and plan for its political and cultural future.

TRANS JUSTICE FUNDING PROJECT (nationwide)
Funding Trans-led grassroots organizations in the US and US Territories who exist to serve and improve the lives of their local and national trans, gender non conforming and non-binary communities.

THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS (Berkeley)
Providing critically needed services to Berkeley families with disabilities with a mission to encourage non-pathological and empowering resources and early intervention services.

WOMEN’S CANCER RESOURCE CENTER (Oakland)
Providing comprehensive, palliative services for women and their families recovering from cancer and/or grieving the loss of a loved one.

ZEN CAREGIVING PROJECT (San Francisco)
Providing collaborative services and end-of-life care as well as trains and supports volunteer care-givers.
