My Approach

I offer holistic psychotherapy that is grounded in the body and emotions, providing a safe space for you to tell your story, be witnessed and feel held.  All parts of you are welcome here. This human experience can be intense, overwhelming and confusing and we all need to feel contained and that we’re not alone in what we’re going through. I believe in the healing power of therapy to be a container for transformation, healing and repatterning. You are the expert on your own experience and I honor your intuitive knowing and innate healing intelligence. I am here to walk alongside you in your healing journey and support you living the full spectrum of your aliveness. 

 I hold an MA in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) which trained me in a variety of holistic approaches that address all levels of our being, mind, body and spirit. My approach draws from a variety of therapeutic modalities including Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Hakomi, Internal Family Systems (IFS), relational psychodynamics, Polyvagal Informed Therapy and Mindfulness. I am also trained in Brainspotting which is a modality similar to EMDR that has been proven to be an effective treatment for the somatic release of trauma.

Who I am

I am a queer, white, cis woman. I am half English, half American and moved to the Bay Area in 2015. I am committed to honoring and being an ally to people of all identities. 

I come to this work with deep reverence for the human spirit after many years navigating the winding road of my own healing journey. I see this work as part of the larger spiral of collective healing that needs to take place for us to move towards a life-sustaining society. Our individual healing ripples out, we are all connected.

I find joy and refuge in the natural world, in the medicine of dance, in music and in the love and support of my community.
