Trauma Informed Therapy for Children, Youth, and Adults

To ensure the health and wellbeing of Blue Oak clients all therapy sessions will be held via video conference until further notice.

Therapy for Adults

I believe that all people hold the potential for movement towards wholeness, healing and connectivity. My practice is dedicated to ending the transmission of intergenerational trauma and strengthening intergenerational resilience. This work must be done in relationship- with ourselves, our histories, and our communities. Therapy offers the opportunity for safe relationship, a space in which we learn new ways of being that bring us more choice, freedom, and joy.

Areas of Expertise:

  • Developmental, Intergenerational, and Historical Trauma

  • Trauma Stewardship and Secondary Trauma

  • Attachment and Intimate Relationships

  • Gender Identity and Transgender/Non-Binary Experience

  • Sexuality and Sexual Orientation

  • Anti-Oppressive Practice

  • Somatic (Body Based) Healing

Therapy for Children and Youth

I offer individual and family therapy to children, youth, and adolescents who have experienced trauma, family conflict, depression, and anxiety. I engage youth and their families with playful curiosity and a wellspring of compassion- identifying and fostering the strength, creativity, and intuition of young people. I am able to forge strong relationships with guarded and resistant young people by offering respect, consistency, and a commitment to their wellbeing.

In addition to ongoing therapy, I offer gender specialist services to children, youth, and adolescents seeking to explore gender identity. I provide family therapy to parents and caregivers looking to increase their understanding and acceptance of their transgender and gender expansive youth. I am trained to provide letters of support and pre-surgical assessments for individuals seeking gender affirming medical care. I receive ongoing ongoing support and consultation for this work via Gender Health San Francisco and Dimensions Clinic for Queer and Trans Youth

About Me

I am a mental health therapist, youth worker, and community organizer of European descent practicing in the Chochenyo Ohlone Territory- the Bay Area, California. I have over ten years of experience in mental health and trauma work, including time spent working alongside marginally housed youth, youth with foster care and criminal-legal involvement, and people who use injection drugs. As a queer and nonbinary transmasculine person, I am proud to uphold the lineage of healing, mutual aid, and fierce resistance of the LGBTQIA2S+ community. I am indebted to my many teachers, in particular the guidance of Terry Ellis LCSW and my training as a Somatic Experiencing practitioner.
